Our goal for Bridgy Fed is to be funded by users and avoid as much pressure from external organizations as possible.

We're a nonprofit using software as user advocacy for the open social web so we can hold platforms accountable to their promises.

This is what we mean by People, Not Platforms.

We can yell about billionaire social platform owners all we want, but there's a real path to toppling them via the open social web.

This mission is more important to us than anything else. We appreciate all of your continued support to make this happen.

      People. Not platforms.

      People.

We just started our community-funding project two weeks ago, and we're *okay* with the trajectory so far.

We have two software announcements in the next month, one of which will make good on one of our biggest promises, so let's see where that lands us 🙂
