Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam (TTD) Board has proposed renaming Renigunta Airport as ‘Sri Venkateswara International Airport’. A proposal will be sent to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

The renaming reflects the spiritual importance of Tirupati, which is famous for the Lord Venkateswara Temple🛕

The TTD Board has also approved the construction of a new Venkateswara Temple in Bengaluru, on land allocated by the government.
