Yeah same here! I really appreciate all her posts, not just memes but a lot of good discussions in other great communities too that would probably be pretty dead if it weren't for her.

It took me some time to finally leave reddit too. I deleted my account, but had this weird feeling of missing something, so I eventually created another. The thing is like a drug, and I believe all the big social media works the same.

When I went back there after stopping for some time, I could realize how terrible some communities can be, how it was making me feel more depressed and angry, and how I was wasting time from my life in there.

Then I deleted it for good, and filled that void with other things, both online and offline. Now I feel much better. One could argue that lemmy is just another social media, but it's different. it's not designed to keep us glued to the screen and have drug effects.

Honestly feels like half the memes I upvote are from them lol

that's not our friendly neighborhood asshole that's his archnemesis the green knight. who's also our friend, and lives in the neighborhood, and is an asshole, but we can't call him those in that order because of trademark law

Well there are people who write bots and i think it would be possible to do something like that.

Im pretty sure if there was an obstacle, they would kivk it out of the way. And they would walk trough spiderwebs first.
