Plus a lot of people use it for deniable gaslighting bullshit where they can just imagine a conversation that happened and act on that-and i will not talk to those people in a volatile mefium without recording and transcription, which they never agree to, and it seems offensive to bring up.

Better to just stick to text unless you need privacy-which in cheap buildings with thin walls and a cartiers that record and analyze everything; a phone call hasnt been for about a century. My biggest phone phrase is 'let me look into that and get back to you'.
