color profiles are still borked

everything I upload gets regurgitated into indexed colors or some garbage, and therefore I don't #usepixelfed anymore, because why bother if it can't handle showing my photos accurately? (y'know, like a photo sharing social media platform should.)

@worldruined Hello, sorry about this, how are you using Pixelfed? Are you composing a new post via the app or the webUI as the color profiles are not stripped from the webUI, but we haven't finished supporting this on the app.
It will be fixed soon, and we'll let you know when the update is available.

I can upload the file to any other site -- Instagram, Twitter, Bluesky, Mastodon -- without a problem.
