Originally thought to be #Lakshmi Devi, is actually a #YAKSHI (a tree spirit associated with fertility).

Concept of YAKSHI is associated with SARPAKAVU (snake grove).

At our ancestral home FRANGIPANI plant in the Sarpa-Kavu remains untouched, so as to not disturb the spirits.
Sarpa Kavu in every plot of land is usually the most undisturbed area, allowing ecological serendipity.
