*Most* nerds never sold out! A handful of *financiers* took over and fancied themselves as nerds. Dudes who cut checks to arms dealers aren’t the same thing as those who build tech, who build communities, who build things that help people create! When we concede “tech” to being what a handful of fascist tycoons say it is, instead of being an empowering tool that millions can create together, we let them win. We shouldn’t give up control to them.
