Another Tea meme

Not yet but not for a lack of effort from some of these dorks.
Wonder why they're also typically defensive about their 4chan usage?
They all legitimately believe they're the one 4chan user who isn't a bigot.
-
This one wasnt about conditions or acys though.
Swartz actually had legal 'legitimate' access to that publically funded data.
He was being attacked for exposing the law to the people, they saw it lije like translating the bible out of latin, but even more devastating to power.
Yea, that was some copyright bullshit.
-
I'm just upset that tea users don't allow men to access their data. I guess you're out of luck if you're bi
It’s also bordering on cyberstalking/cyberbullying, depending on the context. Following a few suicides, some areas have pretty strict laws about that kind of stuff. It’s also a massive GDPR problem if any European guys were listed on the app, but couldn’t access it to remove their own data.

How else would someone know you are a creep? the only way is to doxx them. Its the only way, there is no other way.
Doxx them by publishing drivers licenses with legal name, address, and DOB to the whole internet.
Or by linking to their public tinder or Facebook profile and saying I had X bad experience, fair warning to anyone dating person, to a small userbase.
If you think that's the same then you need a reality check.
What's your solution to IDing creeps?

I'd suggest 3D printing for affordability and because shooting and maintaining a gun already takes a level of know-how and effort.
There's a big difference between being a safe/competent shooter and being a gunsmith.
3d printing a firearm you're planning to bet your life on is a big ask for someone who isn't already a gun owner.
Also, if you're buying a glock slide and parts kit to put in your plastic gat, you aren't really saving much money.
A glock can be had for nearly $300 on sale sometimes.

Maintaining a gun involves knowing how to take the slide off and scrub it with a brush. 3d printing one involves knowing how they work, not to mention having access to a printer, files, then buying a kit because you still need metal internals if you don't want it to explode in your hand. Vice did a video on printed guns.
TL;DW: a reporter got someone experienced in printing guns to help him build and test the gun over weeks and it still malfunctioned on competition day. If you want reliable self defense, buy it. Even a hi point is preferable to a printed gun, and honestly it's probably cheaper too.

I get CC'd on Crown reports on 3D printed guns. But I'm so glad you shared this thing from Vice.
I think our disagreement might be more cultural than technology based, though, since I'm not American and gun laws are much different where I live. And it was... sort of a joke. Obviously, where I live having an unregistered firearm carries a lot of risk that outweighs the benefit.

Kits are about $30-100, the files are free and materials are cheap. Ammo is another matter, but plastic darts are a thing.
But to the point, it was more of a hyperbole than advocating women start carrying unregistered firearms, so I'm exploring the hypothetical rather than arguing in favor of it.
Where I live getting a gun is a lot more difficult, and a license to conceal and carry a loaded weapon even more so. Hypothetically speaking, it is faster, easier and cheaper to make a 3D printed handgun if you know what you're doing. Given their prevalence here, it doesn't seem all that difficult for a lot of people. I'm not saying it's without risk.

How is it always 4chan. Is the anime shit posting board really where peak tech literate internet users congregate.
Different boards on the site have different people. Some boards are somewhat maladjusted nerds with poor social skills like /tg/ others are more technical and home to the unhinged users

This case is odd. It's not some authority; it's a comnunity sharing information for theur own protection, a formalized gossip network of threat identification.
Not a perfect solution, not how I'd hanfle it, but the alternative is just assuming every man is a piece of shit.
Edit: which i assume most of you want to hide.
but the alternative is just assuming every man is a piece of shit.
If bad experience so common that community exist, maybe that not bad solution. Always take second person to date, always take self defense thing, etc.
Men not known as creep before date by someone in community or maybe friend. Always take precaution could protect against creep even if unknown man.
-
The women who go on there clearly do it not out of spite for men but because the system is clearly not sufficiently ensuring their safety. I’m not saying it’s a good solution but idk why the internet is so enthusiastic about women who likely had bad experiences (including r*pe) being doxxed and calling it karma…
Not say sex offender registry is enough, only that other way and already exist. Need someone get rape, then report to police and win trial until in registry (if i understand correct). Far too high bar, much mental health required, need talk about what happen, not easy.
People who doxx getting doxx is ironic.

I think it would be great to have an app that warns women about dangerous men. I don't think it's possible for that to exist though, it will ALWAYS be filled up by bitter people making things up so their ex has a harder time dating.

wrote last edited by [email protected]I just dont date men, don't smile around men unless it's mean or im wearing a mask, don't compliment men even on innocuous things unless they're like half my age or younger, and yeah, i think about exits a lot.
This is a superior solution, because it actially works and does not make me a target for that garbage gender's bullshit.

wrote last edited by [email protected]Nope. It's how i deal.
If i compliment a man, it won't stop hitting on me until i get violent or gross. I'm not even that pretty. Maybe a global 6/10, and i live in souyhern california, so I'm a local 3.
If a man sees me smile it might decide that was flirting, so i only smile in cases where it's very very clearly not. Then I'll have to lose it before anything bad happens, do things like hop off a bus just before the doors close (dick move to the driver), climb something (I'm not young, do like nice clothes), or do a 'frogger' larp, which is only about half as dangerpus as letting it follow me home¹.
And i absolutely don't date them; im not cursed to have no other option sexually, so why the fuck would i defile myself with that one?
The exits thing is mixed with other stuff, various ptsd sources, but i expect I'd have put it together just existing around so many monsters like that.
¹which is wild. Again; im not particularly beautiful. About half of all houses contain a woman. This should not be a danger, and yet i regularly need to get all cloak and dagger to deal with almost half the population! Because of course none of them understand "no"! Not when a woman says it!

Thank you for clarifying.

You don't need to be a peak tech literate person to have been able to accomplish this.
The level of neglect of security that was involved when creating that app should really be criminal. Door was left wide open for anyone to walk in a take a peek
yeah, this is neglect bordering on incompetence. at the very least Tea should be suing the fuck out of their half assed vendors.
-
IIRC it's the app they uploaded the pictures to that had them publicly accessible
Not even an app, it is/was a storage service in Google Cloud that was set up to be public without authentication or without any other security features enabled.

Source of doxxing claims?
wrote last edited by [email protected]Are you stupid or just lazy? This app is full of extremely private date about men. Pictures, Phone numbers, social media, home addresses, mental health history, etc.
Doxing is the entire purpose of this app!

I don't know, I haven't been on it. I suspect neither have you.
